Dr. Mueller is the Dr. Lowell Henry Lebermann Endowed Chair in Internal Medicine and Professor of Internal Medicine at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his medical degree, master of public health degree, and internal medicine residency training at the Johns Hopkins University and the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Hastings Center. Dr. Mueller’s clinical practice includes outpatient primary care and consultative general internal medicine. He is engaged in teaching at all levels of medical training, and his academic interests include biomedical ethics, professionalism, and a variety of general internal medicine topics.
