Robin H. Steinhorn is Professor and Vice Dean for Children’s Clinical Services at UC San Diego. She also President of Children’s Specialists of San Diego and Senior Vice President for Rady Children’s Specialists of San Diego, where she oversees more than 500 pediatric medical and surgical specialists. She is a neonatologist with a particular interest in pulmonary vascular biology and respiratory diseases of the newborn infant. She is an elected member of the Council of the American Pediatric Society and a member of the board of directors for the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Steinhorn wrote for NEJM Journal Watch Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine from 2013 until the publication’s closure in 2020.
