Wendy S. Armstrong, MD, is Professor of Medicine and Division Head of Infectious Disease at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include HIV infection and transplant ID, and her research focuses on the HIV continuum of care, particularly linkage and retention in care in vulnerable populations, as well as medical education in infectious disease. Dr. Armstrong is the incoming President Elect of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, a past Chair of the HIV Medicine Association, and the past co-chair of the CDC/HRSA Advisory Committee on HIV, Viral Hepatitis and STD Prevention and Treatment.
