Dr. Rohan Khera is a Cardiologist–Data Scientist at Yale University, where he leads the Cardiovascular Data Science (CarDS) Lab. He is also the Clinical Director of the CORE Center for Health Informatics and Analytics. Dr. Khera’s work focuses on developing and implementing strategies to improve outcomes for patients with or at risk for cardiovascular disease through data-driven innovations in evidence-based, patient-centered care. His work leverages novel health data streams and builds precision healthcare solutions through applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence. The work in his lab is supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. Dr. Khera is a graduate of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences and is a recipient of the American Society for Clinical Investigation’s Young Physician-Scientist Award, the Jeremiah Stamler Award, and the American College of Cardiology’s Young Investigator Award. Dr. Khera was a member of the NEJM Journal Watch Cardiology board in 2023.
