Elizabeth Horn Prsic, M.D., is an associate professor at Yale Medical School and serves as the Firm Chief for the Medical Oncology Unit at Smilow Cancer Hospital, Yale Cancer Center, New Haven, CT. Dr. Prsic received her medical degree from the George Washington School of Medicine and completed internal medicine residency and medical oncology fellowship at Brown University. She received a T32 NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award, focusing her research on end-of-life care among patients with cancer. She completed a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at the University of Washington. Dr. Prsic is a clinical educator whose research interests include symptom management, supportive oncology, and healthcare utilization and quality. She serves on the Adult Cancer Pain Committee of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and is committed to medical education and academic mentorship.
