Shea Hogan is a practicing interventional cardiology and vascular medicine specialist in Denver, CO. She earned her BA (majoring in Biology and History) at Kalamazoo College and her medical degree from the University of Michigan. Her internal medicine residency, general cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship training were at the University of Michigan. After completion of her medical training, she worked in private practice for 1 year before starting her current position at Denver Health — the safety-net hospital of Colorado and an academic institution affiliated with the University of Colorado. Her first 5 years at Denver Health were spent learning vascular medicine and complex coronary and peripheral intervention, at which point she had the opportunity to pursue a Master of Clinical Science degree at the University of Colorado (completed in 2022). Since that time she has had the great privilege to join CPC Clinical Research, a nonprofit academic research organization affiliated with the University of Colorado with expertise in clinical trial research, as a Clinician-Scientist. Her clinical and research interests include coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, peripheral artery disease (with a particular interest in critical limb-threatening ischemia), and healthcare disparities. Her favorite activity is spending time with her husband and her two amazing daughters.
