Dr. Dave Weisman is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine and an Associate Program Director in Internal Medicine at MedStar Health at Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Weisman graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by serving as chief resident. Currently, he is Vice-Chair of Medicine for Quality at MedStar Union and Good Samaritan Hospitals. In that role, he oversees an interdisciplinary mortality committee, conducts peer review, and runs the CME Grand Rounds for MedStar Health at Baltimore. His areas of interest include student and residency training in evidence-based medicine and point-of-care ultrasound. He has won the Golden Apple teaching award three times and has two distinguished awards from the Maryland chapter of the American College of Physicians recognizing contributions to medical education and research. He is a native of Baltimore and serves the community as an active primary care physician with more than 700 patients in his practice.
