Dr. Heist is the Lee Albright and Nile Albright M.D. Endowed Chair in Clinical Cancer Research at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Boston. She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and an M.P.H. from Harvard School of Public Health. She completed internal medicine residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and a medical oncology fellowship in the combined Dana-Farber / Mass General fellowship program. Dr. Heist is a clinical investigator focused on thoracic cancers and first-in-human trials. She is a member of the IASLC Education Committee and Faculty in the ESMO Developmental Therapeutics section.
