Dr. Melanie Hoenig is a nephrologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. For over two decades, she has been the course director for renal physiology and pathophysiology at Harvard Medical School. She is editor of the Core Curriculum Feature of the American Journal of Kidney Diseases, and learns and teaches with Channel Your Enthusiasm, a podcast book club exploring Burton Rose’s Clinical Physiology of Acid Base and Electrolyte Disorders. Dr. Hoenig has received multiple teaching awards, including the Donald W. Seldin Award from the National Kidney Foundation.
