Dr. Wasan is an expert in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) with a strong commitment to health care maintenance in medically complex patients. Her research focuses on advancing health equity in IBD by addressing disparities and improving access to clinical trials and emerging therapies for underserved populations. As Gastroenterology Fellowship Program Director at Boston Medical Center, she plays a central role in the training of fellows, residents, and medical students.
