Dr. Nicole Metzger is a Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Mercer University College of Pharmacy and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with a hospital medicine teaching team at Emory University Hospital, where she holds an adjunct faculty appointment in the School of Medicine. She earned her Pharm.D. from the University of Georgia and completed 2 years of pharmacy residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. Dr. Metzger is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Chair of the ACCP Adult Medicine Practice and Research Network (PRN), and the founding director of Emory University Hospital's PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency. Her primary interests include reducing preventable medication harm, improving discharge medication access, and advancing pharmacy education.
