Marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) is a B-cell lymphoma originating in the skin, stomach, lymph nodes, salivary glands, and other organs. Cutaneous MZL can be a primary cutaneous disease (PCMZL) or can be secondary to other MZL (SCMZL). SCMZL has been associated with Helicobacter pylori infection, hepatitis C infection, and Sjögren disease. Investigators explored differences in the clinical presentation and pathologic findings of these two disease types.
