Idarucizumab (Praxbind), an agent just approved by the FDA to reverse the anticoagulant effects of dabigatran (Pradaxa), will be available for a "US wholesale acquisition cost ... of $3,500," a Boehringer-Ingelheim official has told Physician's First Watch.
Lauren Murphy wrote in an email that the price "has been set to help ensure the likelihood that [idarucizumab] can be available at institutions where [dabigatran] patients seek emergency care."
