Michigan is poised to become the first state to block the sale of flavored nicotine vaping products. The ban is expected to be enacted in the coming weeks and will be in place for at least 6 months, the Detroit Free Press reports.
The move is intended to target youth vaping. Sales of e-cigarettes to minors are already banned in the state.
Michigan has six cases of severe lung disease potentially tied to vaping.
