Choosing Wisely: Five Pediatric Hematology Practices to Avoid

The American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology have issued a list of five practices to avoid as part of the Choosing Wisely campaign. Among them: Don't routinely perform preoperative hemostatic testing in otherwise healthy children without a personal or family history of excessive bleeding.
