Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is a potential complication of tubal sterilization, but what determines the magnitude of risk for EP? Investigators conducted a population-based retrospective cohort study of some 45,000 women (age range, 18–44) who underwent tubal sterilization between 1990 and 2010 in Western Australian hospitals.
