Eating disorders are common in women of reproductive age; accordingly, investigators sought to determine reproductive outcomes in >6300 women with histories of these disorders who received care at one Dutch medical center and who completed a questionnaire. The study cohort included 170 women with lifetime (recent or past) anorexia nervosa (AN), 265 with lifetime bulimia nervosa (BN), 130 with lifetime both AN + BN, and 1395 with other psychiatric disorders (depression, anxiety, psychosis, or manic episodes). The remaining 4367 women made up the comparison group.
