CROI Is Over — and a Baby Once Again Takes Center Stage

Dr. Paul Sax promises he'll post his Really Rapid Review of the 2014 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections soon. In the meantime, his blog HIV and ID Observations covers a New York Times editorial about a second baby possibly “cured” of HIV after starting ART soon after birth. The case is attracting a lot of attention despite the fact that the baby is still taking antiretrovirals and thus cannot be considered even to be “in remission.”
