During the past decade, we have witnessed a gratifying improvement in overall response and survival in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) treated with anthracycline-containing immunochemotherapy regimens, such as R-CHOP (rituximab plus cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, and prednisone).
