The benefit of oral disease-modifying therapies approved for treatment of relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) has yet to be established in the clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) population. Now, investigators have evaluated the efficacy and safety of oral teriflunomide (FDA-approved for treatment of clinically definite relapsing-remitting MS) in patients with CIS.
