Many patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) have difficulty in adhering to prescribed use of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). In this study from Hong Kong, researchers examined whether a “brief motivational enhancement education program” would improve adherence to CPAP.
One hundred patients with documented OSA (half mild-to-moderate and half severe) were randomized to one of two groups following overnight CPAP titration.
