The recent measles outbreak centered in California has caught the attention of the country. It apparently began when an individual with undiagnosed measles visited Disneyland sometime between December 17 and 20, 2014. After initially spreading mostly in California, the outbreak quickly reached other states and now includes at least 145 people from seven states who were reported to have developed measles between December 28, 2014, and March 13, 2015.
