Primary cutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, leg type (cDLBCL-LT) is frequently diagnosed in elderly women. As the name implies, it frequently occurs as plaques or tumors on the leg. However, it can also present in other sites, supporting elimination of “leg type” from the name.
In this retrospective study, three female patients (average age, 70) had patches to thin plaques of 6 months' to 18 months' duration. Cytofluorometry of peripheral blood, computed tomography scans of the thorax and abdomen, and bone marrow exams were negative.
