The rate of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination among U.S. adolescents lags far behind that of other vaccines. School requirements have been shown to be effective in boosting vaccination coverage. To compare delays in implementation of school vaccination requirements between HPV and other adolescent vaccines — hepatitis B, varicella, and meningococcal conjugate — investigators analyzed data from various public data sources.
