Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a clonal expansion of small- to medium-sized centrocyte-like B-cell lymphocytes; a large-cell variant has also been described. This aggressive systemic lymphoma (median overall survival, 4–5 years) is characteristically positive for CD5 and cyclin D1 antibodies and has a translocation t(11;14)(q13;q32) which causes the constitutive cyclin D1 expression. MCL involves lymph nodes, spleen, gastrointestinal tract, bone marrow, and, less frequently, skin. These authors explored the pathology and clinical presentation of MCL of the skin.
