Daclizumab high-yield process (HYP) is an investigational humanized monoclonal antibody that targets CD25 and modulates interleukin-2 signaling, which is considered a pathogenic pathway in multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers report results of a phase III, randomized, double-blind, active-controlled, international, industry-sponsored trial of daclizumab. The researchers enrolled 1841 people with relapsing–remitting MS aged 18 to 55 with mild-to-moderate disability (Expanded Disability Status Scale Score 0–5 and evidence of recent disease activity).
