Late complications of treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) can include other cancers. To assess HL survivors' long-term risk for second cancers, investigators in the Netherlands analyzed data from 3095 patients (43% women), in three population-based registries, who had received initial HL treatment (at age 15–50; median age at diagnosis, 29) anytime from 1965 to 2000 and who had survived for at least 5 years. Their risk was compared with that in the general population for 1965–1976, 1977–1988, and 1989–2000.
