Endocuff is a disposable distal colonoscope attachment with soft “fingers” that permit flattening of haustral folds during colonoscopy. Findings of previous randomized, controlled trials demonstrate higher adenoma detection rates (ADRs) and higher adenomas per colonoscopy (APC) with Endocuff compared with conventional colonoscopy. In the current multicenter trial, investigators randomized 1065 patients, including fecal immunochemical test (FIT)–positive and symptomatic patients, to colonoscopy with Endocuff or conventional colonoscopy.
