Obstetric venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a common threat to maternal and fetal wellbeing, yet guidelines for VTE prevention have varied among professional societies. The National Partnership for Maternal Safety (NPMS) convened leaders to develop a bundle of evidence-based recommendations.
