To refine individualized estimates of live birth following in vitro fertilization (IVF), investigators sought to identify clinical factors influencing the likelihood of live birth from a single stimulated IVF cycle. In a study involving 184,269 IVF cycles from 1999 to 2008 in the U.K., the investigators developed a prediction model (associated calculator available here: https://w3.abdn.ac.uk/clsm/opis) that combined live births from the initial stimulated cycle (with fresh embryo transfer) plus all subsequent live births resulting from cryopreserved embryo transfers in nonstimulated cycles.
