Intracranial atherosclerotic disease (ICAD) is one of the leading causes of stroke worldwide. Traditional risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, smoking, and dyslipidemia are strongly linked with ICAD. Blood pressure (BP) control reduces the risk for recurrent stroke, but data on other factors, such as physical inactivity, are limited.
