Background and Objective
Guidelines from the WHO, British HIV Association (BHIVA), and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) recommend tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) as one component of antiretroviral therapy (ART) for pregnant women with HIV.
