Serum levels of antimüllerian hormone (AMH) and early-follicular-phase follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) are used routinely to help predict the response to controlled ovarian hyperstimulation prior to in vitro fertilization. Increasingly, these biomarkers are being utilized to estimate fertility potential in women who delay pregnancy until later in reproductive life; but is this strategy effective?
