Initial 5-year results from a prior, open-label, randomized trial of adjuvant chemotherapy (CT) for breast cancer patients with isolated locoregional recurrence (ILRR) showed significant benefit of CT versus no CT for those with estrogen receptor (ER)-negative but not ER-positive disease (CALOR; Lancet Oncol 2014; 15:156).
