A Letter to Our Readers

A farewell to Alain Joffe, MD, and a welcome to Catherine M. Gordon, MD, MSc

Dear Readers,

This issue marks the end of Dr. Alain Joffe's 13-year term as a member of the NEJM Journal Watch Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine editorial board. Alain has been both a terrific expert on adolescents and a thoughtful commentator on many pediatric issues. He will be sorely missed, and we wish him well. His successor is Catherine M. Gordon, MD, MSc, Division Chief of Adolescent Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. We warmly welcome her and look forward to her new perspectives for our readers.
