Low back pain is a major public health issue and cause of disability. Among the working population, it has a major socioeconomic impact. Occupational exposure including hard work, frequently bending or twisting, standing up, sitting, and concentration demands are risk factors for low back pain (Occup Environ Med 1997; 54:741). Prevalence of low back pain has reportedly increased more than 100% in the last decade and ranges from 6% to 45% in various countries (F1000Research 2016; 5:1530).
