Prehospital Advanced Airway Management for Adults with Out-Of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest

Prehospital advanced airway management was associated with slightly better survival, but no change in favorable neurologic outcomes, in patients with nonshockable rhythms, and no benefit in patients with shockable rhythms.

The value of advanced airway management during out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is controversial.
