Dear Readers,
After 16 years with NEJM Journal Watch Emergency Medicine, most recently serving as Editor-in-Chief, Daniel J. Pallin, MD, MPH, is stepping down. We thank Dr. Pallin for his leadership, collegiality, and steadfast commitment to providing clearly written critical analyses of research important for clinical practice. He will be missed.
We are pleased to announce that Ali S. Raja, MD, MBA, MPH, will be our new Editor-in-Chief. An Associate Editor since 2013, Dr. Raja is Executive Vice Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, a member of the faculty of the Center for Evidence-Based Imaging at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School.
We are confident that NEJM Journal Watch Emergency Medicine will continue to be a valuable resource for your practice. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any ideas or suggestions on how we might improve our publication.
