Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) is effective and safe for large colorectal laterally spreading lesions (LSLs), but whether this applies to lesions involving the anorectal junction is unknown.
In the current retrospective study, investigators examined the technical success rate, safety, and long-term efficacy of EMR of large anorectal LSLs (≥20 mm in size and within 20 mm of the dentate line) performed by a group of expert endoscopists.
