The USPSTF reviewed the most recent evidence (including 4 new population-based randomized clinical trials) on screening for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs; defined as aortic enlargement of ≥3.0 cm in diameter) to update their 2014 recommendations. They made no major changes in screening recommendations, for which they note low adherence in clinical practice.
