For atopic dermatitis (AD), discordance has been noted between how patients and physicians rate clinical severity, but little information is available on patient-parent agreement in AD severity rating.
Researchers in France sampled the general adult population and identified 399 dyads of adolescents with AD (58% boys; age, 12–17 years) and parents (67% mothers). Adolescents evaluated AD severity using a global assessment (GA) scale of mild, moderate, or severe.
