The upcoming respiratory virus season will add considerable volume to an already overwhelmed COVID-19 testing system, says Dr. Paul Sax in the latest HIV and ID Observations blog post. To help relieve the logjam, he proposes using a quick antigen test for asymptomatic testing and saving the PCRs for people with symptoms.
