Although the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are given in two doses per the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), a single-dose regimen in certain populations can potentially stretch the limited supply. Investigators evaluated binding and neutralizing antibody (Ab) responses to one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine in 59 healthcare workers (median age, 39) at a single U.S. medical institution.
