Some people experience debilitating symptoms for months after even mild cases of COVID-19. This condition is referred to as “long COVID” and has similarities to myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.
Between March and September 2020, more than 4 million people in the U.K., the U.S., and Sweden, including people who felt well, used a mobile device app each day to record various respiratory, gastrointestinal, and systemic conditions.
