Late-Breaking Clinical Trial presented at the 2021 Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology
Rivaroxaban provides continued benefit in reducing subsequent vascular events after a first event in patients with symptomatic peripheral artery disease (PAD) undergoing lower-extremity revascularization (LER), according to a prespecified analysis of the industry-funded VOYAGER PAD trial presented May 16, 2021, at the Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology. The original trial findings showed efficacy of rivaroxaban in reducing first events in this setting.
