Can the prognostic value of stress echocardiography (SE) be enhanced by looking at parameters beyond development of regional wall motion abnormality (RWMA)? In this prospective, international, multicenter study, investigators addressed this question, testing the ABCDE-SE protocol, which adds to standard detection of RWMA with assessments of B lines, left ventricular contractile reserve, Doppler-based flow velocity reserve in the left anterior descending artery, and electrocardiogram-based heart rate reserve.
