U.S. ACIP Adult Immunization Schedule for 2022

The 2022 adult immunization schedule from the U.S. Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices now is available on the CDC website and in the Annals of Internal Medicine. The Committee makes no substantial changes to its recommendations for 2021, except to address use of newly approved pneumococcal vaccines. We reviewed changes to pneumococcal vaccination elsewhere (NEJM JW Gen Med Mar 15 2022 and MMWR Morb Mortal Wkly Rep 2022; 71:109).
