In the latest HIV and ID Observations, Dr. Paul Sax discusses the most interesting non-COVID studies presented at the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections, which he attended last week in Seattle. His highlights include a study on the prognosis for people with HIV; several studies on doxycycline; and trial results from TRUNCATE-TB, which found that a strategy involving shorter initial treatment was noninferior to standard treatment.
