In Memory of Martin A. Samuels, MD

Dear Readers,

With great sadness we note the passing of Martin A. Samuels, MD, the founding editor of NEJM Journal Watch Neurology. Dr. Samuels's commitment to the idea of informing and educating neurologists was central to the formation of the publication. His breadth of knowledge of the field and of its relation to the rest of medicine was well known. His insights, and his kindness and humor in sharing them, remain with us.
