The sodium–glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors have emerged as an important component of evidence-based therapy for heart failure with either reduced or preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) based upon their impact on rates of death and heart failure–related events. This pooled analysis of patient-level data from two randomized, placebo-controlled trials assessed the impact of dapagliflozin on heart failure symptoms and physical limitation as measured by the Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire Clinical Summary (KCCQ-CS) score.
